Acacia Living Group offers two residential Aged Care facilities at Menora Gardens and Meadow Springs in Mandurah.

Our aim is to ensure that as our residents’ needs change, every effort is made to help them access higher levels of care, within the same community. We also offer dementia-specific care, palliative care, and depending on bed availability, respite care services.

Rest assured that all our specialist nurses, personal carers and therapy staff will deliver the highest standards of genuine, compassionate, individual care.

We have achieved three-year accreditation from the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency who:

  • accredit Australian Government-subsidised aged care homes
  • conduct quality reviews of home care and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flexible care services
  • provide compliance monitoring, information and training to providers
  • work with the community to promote quality care for older Australians.

ACAT Assessment

Access to residential Aged Care is subject to Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) assessment, Centrelink Income and Assets (Means) Testing, as well as room availability and payment of fees appropriate to your financial circumstances.

The Department of Social Services has established My Aged Care, a practical resource to assist you with helpful information to address your questions or concerns on aged care in Australia.

You can contact My Aged Care on their national call centre Information Line on 1800 200 422 for all the information you may need, including how to find the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) nearest to you or visit the My Aged Care website

ACAT assessments are free and can be carried out in your own home, or at the ACAT offices, which are often located within a hospital.
